PA Master Plan for Older Adults/People with Disabilities – White Paper

Pennsylvania Master Plan for Older Adults – White Paper

As we work collaboratively toward the development of the Pennsylvania’s Master Plan for Older Adults, the Department is pleased to share with you the Master Plan White Paper.

The White Paper is an overview of the origins, development process and the core tenets that are shaping this foundational 10-year aging plan for Pennsylvania and is being offered to aging stakeholders and all interested individuals as a reference guide when formulating and submitting comments on the development of the plan.

It is viewable and downloadable at www.aging.pa.gov/masterplan. Digital forms for providing online comments and participating in a needs assessment survey are available at this link as well. This site also contains continually updated information on hundreds of community listening sessions that the Area Agencies on Aging are convening in every county in Pennsylvania.

We so appreciate your hard work and support for the public input phase of this project that we are currently undertaking and encourage you to offer comments and share the above link and information so that we may continue to hear from as many Pennsylvanians as possible.

Thank you for your continued service to older Pennsylvanians and your support of this master plan. We look forward to continuing our work together to transform the landscape for how we will all age in the future.

Jason Kavulich, Pennsylvania Secretary of Aging
