February 2023 Information Sharing & Advisory Committee (ISAC) Meeting

On February 14, 2023, Members of the Information Sharing and Advisory Committee (ISAC) met. Deputy Secretary Kristin Ahrens provided an ODP Update including an update on Waiver Renewals, unwinding of the Public Health Emergency and unwinding Appendix K flexibilities, and an update on the state center closure. There was also a presentation on Increasing Employment (Recommendation #3) which covered Benefits Counseling and the Employment First Report and a presentation on developing and supporting qualified staff (Recommendation #7).

In addition, ISAC, working with the PA Office of Developmental Programs (ODP), released the 2022 report on recommendations and strategies to support the achievement of the vision in Everyday Lives. This publication provides updates related to those recommendations and strategies. Stakeholders are encouraged to use the information contained in this report in their work supporting people with disabilities.
